2025 is already rolling, and we’ve launched several key updates designed to make your day-to-day shop life smoother.

From our brand new omnichannel module to awesome integrations and smarter tools across the board, there’s a lot to be excited about.

1. The New Omnichannel Module is Live!

The Omnichannel Module is Live in Bikedesk

We mentioned it before, and now it is finally here: The New Omnichannel Module.

We’ll be sharing much more about what it includes soon, but a few standout features are already making a real difference:

Sell across locations: You can now sell products from one bike store and have them shipped or transferred from another, so you never lose a sale due to local stockouts.

Order management across stores: Create and manage orders quickly and easily, even if the product is located in a different store or warehouse.

A single view of all orders: Get a full overview of incoming and outgoing orders across every location – all in one place.

Smart notifications when something needs your attention: Get notified directly in Bikedesk when an order comes in from another location, or if a delivery is delayed or rejected.

And this is just the start. We’re continuing to build and improve.

Why are we doing this, you ask?

Because your customers expect a seamless experience, whether they shop online or in-store, and no matter which location they visit.

Our goal is to give you the flexibility and tools to meet those expectations, without needing costly, custom-built solutions. Instead, you get everything you need to run a connected, modern bike shop across all your locations and channels.

2. Improved Shopify Integration

Our Shopify integration has received some well-deserved attention over the past quarter. Especially as part of our broader omnichannel efforts.

Here’s what’s new:

Web order sync to POS: Online orders are now automatically created in Bikedesk, making it easier to manage returns, exchanges and maintain complete customer history – all in one place.

Automatic gift card sync: Gift cards can now be used by your customers both online and in-store.

Loyalty point sync: If you use our loyalty module, customers can now redeem points across both your webshop and your physical stores.

The result? A fully connected sales flow across every channel. Exactly what a modern omnichannel strategy calls for.

3. More power to your loyalty club

A quicker, better and easier Loyalty Club to work with.

Our loyalty module has had a solid upgrade. It’s now quicker, better and easier to work with.

That includes things like sharing points and members across locations, more advanced options for setting up and sharing rules – both individually and across bike store chains – and a much simpler setup if you want to connect your own loyalty programme to your webshop or other channels.

The benefits? A smoother, more consistent experience – for your staff and your customers.

4. Workshop management just got a bit nicer

We’ve also given some love to our workshop tickets to make your daily work a little easier.

Here’s what’s new:

Reorder ticket tabs the way you like: You can now drag and drop tickets tabs inside your setting to set the order that makes most sense for your workflow.

Attach files to emails: Easily send images or documents from your workshop tickets directly to customers by email.

In short: More control, less fuss, better overview.

5. Dynamic and intelligent barcodes

Another feature we rolled out in Q1 is support for dynamic barcodes that automatically register quantity, price – or both at once.

So if you’re using systems like scales that generate barcodes with pricing or weight, our Bikedesk POS will pick it all up automatically. No manual input needed.

Perfect for products where the price or amount varies.

6. A bunch of other small fixes and improvements

Alongside the big updates, we’ve also made loads of smaller tweaks and upgrades across our Point of Sale system.

There are new reports and stats to give you better insight into stock and purchasing. It’s now easier to export data across stores, chains and tills. And you can even log return reasons, so you get a clearer picture of why customers are sending items back.
